They’re made in New Zealand, which is a transport drawback but otherwise, these are great!

Rubber dog bowl
This is a Hevea Puppy Collapsible Dog Bowl. It’s ideal when taking your dog on day activities like hikes, park-hangs, or visiting family and friends. Designed in Denmark and made from sustainably sourced and biodegradable natural Hevea rubber.
What we love
- It’s made of 100% natural rubber, which is biodegradable. Natural rubber can be broken down physically and/or chemically by microorganisms
- The packaging is made from FSC certified cardboard and eco friendly inks
- It’s made with non-toxic, free of phthalates, petroleum, PVC and heavy metals

Recycled plastic toy
Spunky Pup’s Pelican eco-friendly dog toy from their Clean Earth range is made from 100% recycled plastic water bottles. This includes the fabric, stuffing, binding and thread. One drawback? They come from the USA, so another one with some carbon kilometers.
What we love
- Each toy redirects 4 plastic water bottles from ending up in our oceans, waterways and landfills.
- They come in some great animal motifs. I love the bear!
- Not only are Clean Earth toys made from recycled material, but each toy can be recycled when you dog is done playing with it.
Compostable poo bag
Oh Crap’s mission is to eradicate the 4% of landfill that is dog poop wrapped in plastic bags. They realise that wrapping organic matter in a plastic bag makes no sense, as organic waste inside plastic will never break down. This is an Australian company, which is a huge bonus, and their founder is an all round great guy.

Eco Dogs Australia have the mantra ‘Happy Bones, Happy Dogs, Happy Planet’. Their beds are hand built in Melbourne with five layers of the latest sustainable technology and materials.
What we love
- They’re orthopaedic and machine washable
- Longevity is part of this company’s sustainability position. They made beds to last because the last thing the planet needs is another discarded bed!
- It’s made with mostly sustainable and non-toxic materials
